External GPU with a Thunderbolt 1 Mac - will it work in Boot Camp?

I've been using a GTX 680 inside of a Razer Core X Chroma TB3 eGPU enclosure for a couple days now, and it's been great. I found two of these enclosures being thrown out, so I can't complain about the price lol.

I'm using it with a Mid 2012 15" MacBook Pro (Unibody, 2.3GHz, 16GB, macOS Catalina), and it's working great so far. I also have Windows 10 installed on this computer, and it would be very nice to be able to use the eGPU within Windows. Is this a possibility with a Mac that only has Thunderbolt 1? This is the first time I've personally used any proper eGPU enclosures, so I'm not sure what to expect with these older Macs.
