Frequent butterfly keyboard failures - are replacements worse?
Post Body

I bought a Mid 2017 13" MacBook Pro at the end of 2018, and it's been a great laptop except for the keyboard. The original keyboard was perfectly fine until April of 2021. I sent it in for repair and got it back with a brand new top case assembly.

Fast forward to September and the keyboard is having issues again. I sent it in towards the end of October and it was repaired again. I got the computer in the mail 22 days ago as of writing this. The keyboard is beginning to show signs of problems again, this time with a stuck "M".

I understand the issues with these butterfly keyboards, and if this issue persists I'll be sending it back for another repair, but has anyone else had such bad luck with the replacement keyboards? Even with their reliability issues I would expect them to last more than three weeks, especially since I don't do anything that would cause damage to the keyboard.
