Hello all, I know you will probably get this question alot and i do apologise if this is annoying but im curious as to your opinion on what I should get.
At the moment the macbook is on sale for a couple hundred off the regular price for me in AUS, and I am starting to study IT (start of next year), however i recently swapped from my Flip to an IPhone 12 and want to get a macbook instead. So I have never bought one and dont really know how a m1 chip relates to an intel comparison.
Now I have heard something about a possible 2021 macbook, however with such little information on prices and release dates I am unsure if I should wait or get the 2020 cheaper, I am worried that the 2021 might be wayy more expensive just with the general upgrades that are possibly a thing.
So in all honesty the sale is a really nice bonus, It would help, however I dont want to spend a lot more if the 2021 is more expensive, but I also do not want to buy a 2020 one if the prices are negligible. However they are on sale now and would be nice to save the money.
Now I know there is not a lot of information, and that I am asking for information that everyone doesnt know, but I am wondering if apple follows possible trends? maybe educated guesses from previous releases. Honestly just wanting some opinions on the matter.
