Hey peeps, I'm the head tech at a second hand IT retailer and often times we get crap that's still remote managed, usually we contact the seller (usually a school etc) and they remove it after a while with some headache, however this time we've got 3 high end MacBook pros (2016 and up, 2 15 inch, one 13) and these people are driving us nuts, they've claimed to unlock them 3 times now and it's still there, so now I'm taking matters into my own hands to try and remove it.
Problem: installing Mac is fine, can format and get to setup screen, however when I get to wifi, if I choose not to connect it says I have to for a critical update, when I connect and click yes, it reboots, seemingly installs the remote management crap from ram/t2/storage etc, then boom, remote management screen again. We are trying to get the username and password for the remote management so we can get past and remove it from the home menu but there's a very good chance they'll refuse and claim they have done everything they should have etc (they are being ass about this)
So what can I do here??
I'm trying to follow guides from terminal to access and remove files but I'm running into wall after wall of "fpath does not exist" etc
Any help is appreciated! Got the boss breathing down my neck to fix the 4k almost worth of laptops sigh
