Is the MacBook Pro 16ā worth it

Hey guys, Iām currently on the fence of whether or not buying the base model 16ā MacBook Pro from Amazon as there is a pretty good discount. Do you have any experience/advice that would help me decide if I should buy now or keep waiting.
BTW my use cases would be pretty much web development and next year for my courses when I will start university (applied computer science)
