Hi - I have one machine in the house w/ Catalina (10.15.4) and one with Mojave (10.14.6). I get around okay on MacOs and generally figure my own problems out but on the Mojave machine my son wants to import some music which for whatever reason won't upload to the cloud, I guess because it's not in Apple's catalogue. It looks like I have to turn off iCloud Music Library but it is really unclear about how to do that. It says there's a switch in iOS under settings but I don't see it. On the Catalina machine I _think_ I could do it by un-checking the option to sync library but I don't see that option on the Mojave machine (I haven't upgraded it because I gave my old Mac to my son and he's just learned the basics and I'm not ready to re-explain iTunes and a few other things just yet).
I did add him to my family plan for Apple Music but most of what he's interested in is Japanese and not available on iTunes and when we try to add it manually we can't.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful.
