Post Body

I'm trying to get a Dell WD19TB dock to work with my M1 Max. Nothing I seem to do gets it to connect and I can't work out why.

The dock works when plugged in to an (albeit USB C but not thunderbolt) Windows laptop.

When I plug it in to my Macbook I get nothing. No USB passthrough, no Thunderbolt passthrough, no display, it's like it's not detected at all. But it DOES charge it.

I've updated the dock's firmware, reset it more times than I can count, tried it with and without USB devices, ethernet, thunderbolt & displays plugged in and every combination possible.

I've tried it with and without my magsafe charger plugged in, with the laptop at both at 100% and 75% charge.

It works with Windows, and it's Thunderbolt so there's absolutely no reason it shouldn't work with my Mac, I'm only trying to get a single TB display through it, and it's not even picking up basic USB devices.

Am I missing something? Or do I just need to return it and fork out for a Caldigit?
