Bought this i7 8 GB of RAM 2010 MacBook Pro 17 inch for $20 Canadian off Facebook Marketplace. Looks like it needs a new battery. I used Dosdude1’s Catalina patcher to install Catalina as it natively only supports High Sierra.

These 17 inch models come with an expresscard slot. I’m considering adding some USB 3.0 ports to it using Multibeast to add some generic USB 3.0 drivers and a USB 3.0 expresscard.
