Hello everyone,

I’m about to purchase my first Mac but I need some genuine counseling. My profile: I’m studying data science, cybersecurity and I do music production as a hobby. I also intend to learn swift. My choices: I can either buy an old iMac for 400/500€ that’s from 2015 (min 256 ssd and 16gb of ram) and in addition buy a MBA M1 with 8GB of ram OR buy a refurbished MacBook 16’’ Pro M1 Pro with 16go of ram and 512 SSD. The screen size is important for me, but I do travel ever so often. What would you recommend? PS: I’m getting into Linux and I plan to keep using it on my next workstation.
