Dumb question but I can't seem to figure it out & I haven’t found an article that addresses it

I have an Intel Macbook Pro with OS Ventura 13.4.1 connected to a monitor - pretty standard stuff. Normally when you close the lid, the Mac (and hence the monitor) goes to sleep (or locks). However, since it’s plugged into a monitor it’s not. I want to change that setting and have it sleep (or lock) whenever I close the lid. Basically the opposite of this article https://www.macbookproslow.com/not-sleep-lid-closed/

Thanks :)
