I'm the master of decay. 1 mil rounds breeze by my body some make contact but this is irrelevant to the 200 incoming RPGs and some near fatalities surrounding me. Over 30 closer quarter combat encounters and yet I'm still here. I'm still breathing. Still ticking.

I'm 45 years old.

I believe in taking care of myself,

in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine.

ln the morning, if my face is a little pufffy,

I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches.

I can do a thousand now.

After I remove the icepack, I use a deeppore cleanser lotion.

In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser.

Then a honey-almond bodyscrub.

And on the face, an exfoliating gelscrub.

Then I apply an herb mint facialmasque,

which l leave on fourteen minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.

I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol,

because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older.

Then moisturizer,

then an anti-aging eye balm,

followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

There is an idea of a Rex Follett.

Some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me.

Only an entity-- something illusory.

And though I can hide my cold gaze...

and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours...

and may be you can even sense our life styles are probably comparable,

I simply am not there.

What then do I seek? At my age I'm Daddy material therefore I guess I am a Daddy looking for my babygirl to protect and serve with every last drop of blood in my body. To give and cherish the moments that remain for me. What is morality to you? What desires fill your every being? What do you want from your life?

I have done everything and been everywhere. It's not, in most cases, a starlight scenario out there. I am secure financially and mentally for I've survived this empathy lacking society for 45 years and during this time I have honed my skills, excellent in survival and navigating every possible scenario imaginable be it fruitful or critical.
