Post Body

Greetings, lyrist!

I’m guitar trained. I understand music theory and such. By being dyslexic has messed my ability to read notation and such. Recently got into King David’s story and his lyre/harp. So naturally there are questions.

Would any of my guitar equipment be of use to me on or a detectable pickup? Such as pedals and amps? I read that acoustic amps are better. But that was for internal pickups.

Are there any books that show chord charts or anything like that? For the lyre. Someone did tell me that piano chord books are closest thing.

Lastly. Are they any ideal accessories that should be picked up for a lyre? First time things. Or even long term stuff.
