anyone else have a kitty that screams if they can't be let in to the bathroom with you?

he just sits there while I do my business. staring me down. and then when I shower he has a whole breakdown, like we're both actively dying if I don't get out rn. on the plus side... If I call for him, he always talks back. he doesn't come, of course, but I can find him easily. anyone else? or is my cat just extra dramatic?
