Acid Reflux/Cough after Auto Transplant?

I am a little over day 40 from Auto. My esophagus really took a beating from the melphalan. I started taking pepcid to reduce acid. But now I have been having coughing after eating and feels like shortness of breath. I saw my oncologist and he said my lungs were 100% clear. I thought maybe it is anxiety, but the coughing fits are triggered after I eat. Seems like maybe silent reflux?? Anyone else have this?
