You filthy animals! Keep fighting, fuck Santa, and Presents. Today is about you! Be 'Merry' for your opportunity to make it through today, tomorrow, and every other day you're afforded. Because it ain't guaranteed and you're reading this now so embrace it.
Being a 40 year old man sitting here alone without my children on Christmas Day hurts, regardless of me being in remission. It hurts more then the Cancer or the treatment combined. But I know what I'm fighting for, and at times I forget.
When I get down I just remind myself of you members here... whether you're just finding out, waiting, biopsies, sickness, side effects, relapse, chemo, radiation, losing your health, hair, mobility... you give me power, drive, and motivation!
Don't feel bad for yourself, feel bad for your old self. Start fresh and free yourself like I have. Let go of any hate and resentment, smile even when you don't feel like smiling.
And if your time happens to be near, and you've done everything I mentioned above, I promise you will no longer be afraid of death. Instead you will embrace Life, Love, and Laughter.
This is my Christmas present to you 🎁
Keep attacking whatever you're Fighting, be Relentless until the End. Weakness never overcomes, Strength always Prevails. It's all in your Mind.
