I've been driving for a week but I've been privy to the gruge between drivers and said Co. Over NYC trips for a while now. I drive a car that isnt really gas friendly. I've been accepting every ride to hit my 170 rides as new driver and get the guaranteed money faster and I cant see trip info yet so it is what it is. Yesterday I did a Lux ride from Newark airport to a NJ destination that lasted 44 mins long and received $73 including toll reimbursement of $3.60 not bad at all in my opinion even though the actual toll fee is more like $5 & change. Today I recieved the titled Lux LaGuardia drop off which was 47 mins and paid out $51 including the $20 for tolls Though I belive I paid more agian. (I know I could return for free using the "Krotch" but time is money) so I'm receiving less than 31 before aprox $7 in fuel and no earning potential for what ended up being an 1hr plus due to traffic. Not feeling to good about this... any insight, tipsor suggestions?
