āPax didnāt tip, fuck themā. The problem is, yall expect tips when tips are optional. Yes they are nice, but YOU are the one that decided to drive for Lyft, so if you have a problem with the money you make with Lyft, go find another job. Stop trying to rely on getting tipped. Iāve been driving for Lyft off an on for almost 6 years, but full time since January while going to school and I make anywhere from 225-300/day in 7-9 hours of driving, BEFORE tips. The money is there, you just have to know where to look (yes I understand all regions are different with the pay and demand, etc.) and stop being so fucking picky with the rides. āoh Iām making less than a dollar per mileā. Deny. āthis ride has a stopā. Deny. āthis pax has less than a 5.0 ratingā. Deny. Thatās bullshit. Doing that shit every once in awhile is understandable, but doing it all the time, no wonder you donāt make any money. And bragging about a 10% or 30% or 60% acceptance rate, yea youāre cool, buddy. you donāt need to be a driver. And once again, if you donāt like the money, go find another job. Iām tired of all the bitching about not getting tipped. You want tips from every customer, go be a bartender, valet, or waiter/waitress.go wash cars. I make sure I get my money by making sure I average a minimum of $10/ride by the end of the day. So either accept what you are getting, adjust the hours you drive, or get another job.
