I live in Alabama! Itās 4:30am and I canāt sleep. Iāve been on so many natural supplements for sleep and prescribed meds. I still struggle with insomnia pretty often. I have a hard time āfalling asleepā thatās my issue. And itās hard trouble shooting whether itās from lupus or the 3 other autoimmune diseases that I have and other medical problems. Itās the worst feeling being wide awake when everyone else is sleeping soundly. And I know that Iāll feel like complete hell tomorrow (today) because I canāt sleep. Sleeping is so crucial for people like us who have chronic diseases and other health problems. When I get horrible insomnia like this, I typically feel hungover the next day like Iāve been out all night drinking. It really sucks and Iām just here to rant. Thereās many things I wish I could change but sleeping is the on the top of my list. I wish I could sleep like a regular person. I know Iām not the only other person that struggles with insomnia. It ruins everythingā¦ especially if you have plans for the next day! Nothing makes you feel somewhat decent until you sleep. At this point, Iām gonna go buy blackout curtains for my bedroom. I always end up having to put blankets up over my windows because nothing keeps the sun out on the mornings I fall asleep at 6am and try to sleep in til 10am-11am. Sorry for the long post but it IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!
