My dr was confident I had lupus once I presented her with all my symptoms, but my ANA (0.6) & rheumatoid factor (16) tests were negative.
I had never even considered lupus, but once she mentioned it & I looked up the symptoms they are 100% spot on with everything Iām dealing with. Raynaudās syndrome, joint/muscle pain, hair loss, chronic fatigue, mouth sores, chest pains, dizziness, racing heart, etc.
I know we canāt diagnose here, but I guess Iām wondering if itās worth it for me to continue trying to get a diagnosis or if I need to just give up? Iām getting sicker every day it feels, but I feel like everythingās been ruled out.
Like vitamin D? She checks that at every visit. Itās always been super low & this last time she had to up my weekly vitamin D supplement to 50000 UI.
I needed that reassurance to ask again. Thank you. Iāve been feeling like Iām being annoying to my GP, but I need answers bc Iām not getting any better.
Iām being tested for autism! Already diagnosed adhd but my psych isnāt so sure itās adhd anymore
Not sure if you meant to, but your comment comes off rude. I didnāt include every detail of my entire medical journey in the original post. I didnāt discuss all my chronic illnesses that started since i was born. I didnāt talk about how hard it was to get care in my teens & how it put me off drs for years. I didnāt talk about how Iāve had 5 different drs in the last 3 years bc they all keep saying āitās anxietyā or literally tossing their hands up and saying they canāt help without even putting in referrals. So yes, being told that the tests were negative with no further follow up, definitely brought back a lot of the feelings that I was being dismissed yet again & made me feel hopeless that Iāll never find an answer to this.
I havenāt been to a cardiologist, though that is something else Iāll be requesting. Iāve worn a heart monitor for 3 days & found my heart beats irregularly but never gave it a reason. My heart rate also goes between 84-154. I think it said that my hr was above 120bpm 20% of the time. Which didnāt seem healthy, but again they said itās nothing š¤·š¼āāļø

No they didnāt. This is just a GP. She was talking about referring me to one, but has since said itās not necessary.
