This morning I had to shovel. It wasn’t a big amount or anything. But the absolute agony I’ve been in since is just awful. My hands have really been inflamed. The doc even suspects maybe RA in my hands in addition to lupus? I use meloxicam and voltaren gel and smoke a ton of weed. The problem is I’m 47. If my hands are this bad now how will they be in 5 years much less 10 or 20. I struggle to button things and open lids. I have to use 2 hands to lift a frying pan. I feel so defeated. Any suggestions on how to not dread the pain of the future?
