I saw a while ago that Netflix wanted to continue Lucifer past Season 5 and also rumors that Tom Ellis signed a contract for Season 6 (which is unconfirmed). But after binging Season 4 last night I was looking for more information and saw that talks about Season 6 have come to a halt because Tom has been declining offers from the studio?
Warner Bros. TV has, per sources, gone back and âsweetened the potâ multiple times. âEveryone wants Tom to be happy,â says the insider. âBut thereâs a limit, and itâs been reached.
You can find multiple articles with this quote so I'm not going to link one.
I'm really confused since Tom Ellis worked so hard with the fans to get Lucifer renewed, and now he's rejecting offers? Does anyone know more about this?
