Drafting AFR and I just can't "get the format".. played hundreds of drafts of Ikoria, two most recent sets, good results...
https://www.17lands.com/draft/1ec66ce8c2a946ada35004bb7644ee42 2-3, I thought this deck would trophy for sure but I never drew my bombs and the deck was just clunky. It did stuff but my opps always had answers and I didn't.
https://www.17lands.com/draft/150d468f5b38475dbb55f3bb03b99b37 3-3, again, I thought this deck would do better, 3x circle of the moon druids were an absolute house and lots of other good cards.
No 17lands data here but I just went 0-3 with this deck that I thought would play out pretty sweet:
I don't have a draft log, but can anyone critique this deck? I think I overpicked Dawnbringer Cleric, it's just not played that impressive, and the lifegain synergy was not strong enough for Celestial Unicorn to carry me. I essentially drafted this deck as anti-aggro, but just got ran over by non-red decks. This format feels frustratingly difficult to draft - I usually can spot the open lane and run with it, but even if it's wide open, my decks feel underpowered compared to opponents. I am in Plat 4.
Thanks!
