Sorry if this isn't the best place to ask, but my google-fu is weak and I can't seem to get a straight answer:
I've set up an entry level desktop with the following specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.30 GHz
Mobo: Gigabyte Z77-D3H
RAM: 8GB DDR3 (2 x 4GB) @ 800 MHz Dual Channel
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 3000 @ 850 MHz
SSD: 120 GB Kingston
My question is, is the Intel HD Graphics 3000 sufficient for basic gaming, or would it be better if I slotted in a GT220 geforce card (512mb)?
The GT220 is older, but seems to have slightly better specs.
No specific titles, but assume just stuff that kids play, like Minecraft, etc.
