Max repurchase or not

So, I noticed how loud a max is, and I am wondering if they worked on it being quieter. Sometimes, the noise it makes distracts me a bit, but I love the ability to sync and do long-distance play with people. Should I get a new one if they resolved it, or is it just something that I'll have to deal with?
