He made it pretty clear that he just didnât find Emilia attractive, but clearly didnât want to lay into that too much.
So when they kept asking over and over âwhy why whyâ it felt like he was almost being grilled for not finding someone else sexually attractive? Like it was a negative thing that his brain just didnât find this woman appealing. He canât help that.
The clip of them meeting and the aftermath is not an accurate reflection of how anyone would feel in that moment.
As a straight guy, let me tell you that if an average looking woman who was in incredible shape and had television production level makeup on appeared in front of me and said she wanted to have her way with me, it would be hard not feel attracted to her in that moment. Factor in also that they did have a strong emotional connection and obviously heâd feel like that.
A 6/10 with a 9/10 personality is throwing herself at me? Wow this is amazing!
When the dust settles, the excitement fades and you get more of an image of what she actually looks like, the attraction might fade as well. He never stopped loving her as a person but that doesnât mean he can marry herâŚ
Quite frankly Lucas showed he wasnât some douche by not sleeping with her immediately anyway just to get off. He did try and hold off but she was really, really persistent.
I dunno, Lucas really seemed like a good guy and it frustrated me how they grilled him over personal taste!
Anyone who knows Swedish people or has watched some more Swedish reality knows how Swedes are. Hurting someoneâs feelings is generally their worst nightmare and theyâll do anything to attempt to wiggle their way out of it.
Lucas was being 110% Swedish in taking it far enough to achieve a much worse outcome than what would have been if he was honest from the beginning. Not wanting to just admit that it wasnât going to work out for him, instead trying to prolong it by waiting for a way out to appear without having to say things that needed to be said.
By persistently avoiding actively stating something that would hurt her feelings on the spot, he ended up waiting until the last and worst possible moment in the wedding ceremony when he had to do it anyway because she didnât have enough awareness about the situation to turn him down herself.
