So there is one very common theme I hear from women, mostly, who are trying to either work through these issues with their husband or if their husband or SO is not being 100 % truthful yet YOU still know in your heart of hearts something is off and it's probably related to porn u continue to struggle.
Fact: porn is going NOWHERE...at least in our lifetimes. Fact: porn is accessible 24/7 Fact: porn takes many forms like a Greek mythological creature and its power is beyond anything you are capable of changing.
SO! Where does this leave us? I understand it hurts. It's betrayal. It's numerous things but what I'm more interested in how we as women can lift one another up. What can we do to help one another from feeling so powerless? How can we all begin to restore the origins of feeling desired, sexy, sensual...all those good things without being totally consumed by some jack asses choices?
I'm looking to start some type of support group for women in relationships with both current and ex porn users because there is trauma in both. It might look a little different but at it's core it's not.
Let's help each other to feel like we all once maybe felt at some time and want to desperately restore that inner power because this power comes from no one but ourselves.
In peace
