A little back story. I (F) made a friend in college and I have a crush on him. His birthday is coming soon and I thought I could buy him a gift (a friendly one, I dont want to confess or something). There was this thing before Christmas where you could write a letter to anyone and I thought a lot if I should write to him but I figured out it would be too weird. Then I was honest with him and I told him something like "i didnt want you to think I have a crush on you" and he said he wouldn't. I was like ughhhh. Before nye, I thought I could personalise some guitar picks online, but sadly I found out they were more expensive and it wasn't so worth it... and I was upset. What could I buy him that doesn't require much energy and it's still nice? Then I figured I could buy him a cd from his favourite band from a library in my city. So the question is: would it be lame if I gave him this cd, some chocolate and a letter saying some nice stuff to him (and maybe things I can't tell him in his face or while messaging)? I mean i think he would appreciate anything, but still...
