My friend is clinically depressed and bipolar. She has constant anxiety attacks and sadness is her permanent state. She started making memes about her mental illness, to which I asked her to post it on Reddit, since people appreciate them here. She did and was surprised to see the upvotes on it. She then posted her sketched quote from a famous series to which someone gave a constructive criticism, more like explaining gently what's wrong and how it can be better. She loved that person's comment so much, she sent me a picture of her gushing. She read those comments to her parents as she couldn't stop feeling good about it. She also told me she'll start taking her meds now because Reddit has made her happy and that's how she intends on staying. I felt so relieved today because she felt positive after ages. So, thank you so much Reddit, thank you so much to the people who commented on her post!❤️
Edit: Thanks for the silver! People really are the sweetest here!
