This whole thing makes more sense when you figure out how insanely easy it is to get a medicinal card. If they gave a shit about smoking weed, I would've needed to see a doctor at least. In this system, we have two approved growers and only 10 pharmacies allowed. Magically, the price is high. Shocker, right?! Making it recreational opens the system up to outside competition. Turns out they really don't like a free market system when they can control their own ROI.
