lets just say im downloading and trying to install the beta in anticipation of being invited (im not being coy out of fear of being reported, that is ridiculous) but i am unable to post in the beta forums and am having troubles with the launcher.

But im having an issue with the launcher even before getting it up and running.

An update error occurred Http 400 - Bad Request

thats the error that is specified after hanging on the 'Update Programs' Game Update Process. At this point the launcher tries again in one minute then just basically crashes without crashing and becomes unresponsive.

I checked the turbine troubleshooting pages and what I saw to try to solve the problem was to make sure you're on an admin user account in windows and turn off the UAC (im running vista) That is how I am currently set up.

Anyone had the same or similar problem or have any idea what the issue might be? Thanks!
