Why did the one ring intentionally fall off Isildur?
Post Body

When I think of this why would the Ring do this? I understand it has a mind of its own and used Isildur's lust for power to kill him but why would it take itself off in a riverbank? If when the ring is put on Sauron knows it's exact location, so why take itself off in a really hard place to find where it will be lost for 2000 years?
