Originally planned as a series of animated TV programs that never materialized with only one being made, Mushi Pro Land released a 60-minute adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel “Treasure Island” with animals.
In the early 1970s, the short has been dubbed in English and colorized. It is said that there’s a VHS out there in the US but I couldn’t find it on the web.

One thing to note is that the only parts that are missing in the English dub is the fight between Dr. Livesey and Billy Bones, the raid of the Benbow inn by The Blind Pew and his henchmen, and the conversation between Jim Hawkins, Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney after he recovered the map
