Are you tired of using your awakening skill (or any other skill with long animation), only to have the boss run away, or charge up a wipe, and all you can do is stand there and watch?

I recently saw a Korean video about this, and I searched on the sub but didn't get any results so I thought I'd share it here.

Make sure you bind your pet menu (default is alt P) to something you can easily access. I recommend the ~ key as it's close to ESC.

1. Open the pet menu

2. Click remote repair

3. Press ESC to close the repair window

4. Press the pet menu key to close the pet menu window

Your character should now be free to move, hourglass, or whatever.

It takes a bit of getting used to. But since you're locked in place anyway it might help to get into the habit of getting your fingers in position whenever you start the skill, just in case anything unexpected happens.
