Can someone explain why people rage to that extent in raids?

Post Body

Piggybacking on a certain recent incident, and my own experiences with pugs / loose static members, I'm hoping someone puts forth an explanation as to why some players hold this mindset / behave this way.

They basically approach the game like everything has to be picture-perfect and hyper-optimized. Support staying alive, Synergy loss when a party member dies, mechs not being resolved perfectly, Taunts, landing counterattacks...the list goes on. If you know the type of person I'm talking about, you know. And a signature move of theirs is making passive-aggressive statements along the lines of "Why did Player X use Skill Y at Moment Z?" To those in VC with them.

Pretty sure everyone's had the privilege of meeting this kind of player, at least once in their Lost Ark life. Whenever I raid with one of them, I feel as though I'm taking part in a group exercise where we are colouring shapes in, like in those childrens books, and you'll be executed IRL if you colour one pixel outside the lines.

Its honestly quite insane. By the end of the year, it's going to be just them left.
