Never Played Player: Should I wait for the Soul Eater to come out before I start?

I've been trying to scratch and MMO/Survival Game itch and I think I want to try Lost Ark.
I have been trying to decide what class to play and the new Soul Eater class is what I decided on. I found out its not out yet!
Should I just wait the week to start with a brand new character? Or will I get a benefit if I jump in now and play some other class?
