Hello, hope I am able to ask this question here. I received a letter by a law firm representing Goodwill about a civil claim for an incident on 12/02/2020 asking for a payment of 647.00 to settle the claim in 10 days. The incident happened in a Florida store and nobody told me I would have to pay something in the future but I did sign a paper (should have read it better but I was spooked by the whole incident and just wanted to get out of there, stupidity isn't an excuse). This happened almost 3 years ago, do I have to pay this or can I ignore this? What happens if I don't pay this 3 year old claim. Not looking for judgement, just hoping to get some answers regarding this situation. Thank you in advance.
