First of all - I lost 15 pounds this month!
I lost about 8 the first week, which makes sense due to water weight and losing quickly when you first start - so I am closer to losing 2 pounds per week, which sounds about right.
My question is about going over my calories per week or under my calories per week, because the app I'm using tracks that. I'm on a 1500 calorie per day restriction.
My first week I was under 671 calories for the whole week. Second week I was under 158. Third week I was over 229. Fourth week I was over 580.
If I do the math, that means all of my overs and unders equal out to -20 calories, which means I have averaged out to 1500 calories every day with 20 calories under.
But I can't help but think I am sabotaging things by having weeks where I go over - even though I has other weeks where I went under.
Can anyone put this into perspective for me?
