I'm probably going to ramble some in this post, so sorry in advance. I found this subreddit by accident and have been lurking for about a week.
I'm a guy, and I have been fighting my weight battle solo, since most of my friends are either skinny work-out-aholics, or over 350 lbs with no desire to lose anything.
This year at new years, I was 299 at 5'11โ. I decided to put my mind to it and lose 4 lbs a month every month by making little changes. I was ahead of schedule till April, when I weighed in at 278. I had a few bad months mentally, and regained some of that weight. Today I'm back up at 291.
I'm working out again๐คฉ, and my weight loss journey is restarting.
I'm cutting out sodas and candy, replacing them with tea, water, and fruit. Any advice from people who have successfully lost weight would be welcome.
