Help!!!! Gaining weight through OMAD and going to the gym!

So a little backstory, I posted on this Reddit a month and something ago regarding losing weight for my vacation to Hawaii and a lot of you had some good advice for me.

After switching diet routines every other day I settled upon doing OMAD.

By omad I mean eating 1 meal every 24 hours usually at 7pm

My meals consist of veggies, either salmon or chicken breast or anything healthy and I always make sure that Iโ€™m eating under 1500 calories a day.

No snacking or junk food.

Alongside this I am going to the gym 6 days a week making sure to do 30 minutes of cardio and one of the major muscle groups for about 15 sets in total from 5 different workouts.

Last Monday I weighed myself and I was 182 pounds which was an improvement of my starting weight of 195 pounds. I was very happy with my progress.

Fast forward to this Monday and I have weighed in at 189 pounds for some reason??

I stick to my diet, I donโ€™t snack, I religiously go to the gym and Iโ€™m gaining weight??????

So my question is why am I gaining weight ? Could it be water weight ? Even tho I weigh myself in the morning after an all night fast??????
