I've been working out for 4 weeks now. I started at 204 and now at 197. I'm 5"4F and trying to get down to a goal weight of 115. My typical routine is 5 days a week of 65 minutes on Elliptical, 15 minutes on bike and 15 minutes doing weight machines. The first 3 weeks I found I maintained weight. Then I weighed myself after a week of not checking and I'm down 7lbs. I'm wondering if I should be doing cardio only and not weights? My main focus right now is losing weight. I do eventually want to strengthen my arms more though. I just dont want to be messing up my weight loss by building muscle when I'm trying to lose fat. Is what I'm doing now the most beneficial for weight loss? Or should I do cardio only?
