Edit: thank you for my first award!
Stats: 25yo, m, 186cm, SW:115KG, CW:99KG, GW:85KG
I’ve finally hit my first goal, 99KG, I don’t have any friends so I wanted to share with the people that have helped me, which has been this community, I’m half way to my goal and have lost ~16KG (35 pounds). For anyone that has seen my stuff in the past, I intend to eat 1KG of fish when I’m 99 flat to say that I’m 1% fish, so.. post coming soon! 😂
Here’s what I’ve learned for those on their own journey. All diets are a way of being in a calorie deficit, CICO was the best for me though may not be the best for you - I highly recommend binging James Smith from James Smith Academy, he puts it EXTREMELY bluntly. Eat what you enjoy, just not as much of it. Avoid drinks that have calories they just aren’t worth it, if I’ve pushed particularly hard I might get a Gatorade, though that’ll be the worst drink I have. Find which exercises you like, do it for fun, I love mountain bike riding and I’ve been getting my sister in on it with me I’ve set myself and my sister a goal, if we are fit enough by mid-next year we’re going to Peru - we’re even learning Spanish
I had some break through music which helped during exercise, I did a ride through a mountain trail tonight that I’ve never done and as I was at my most severe struggle point I got to the peak of the song “My body is a cage” - powerful stuff.
Keep pushing yourself, keep loving life, you all have this! 💪
