Ready to DITCH THE SCALE

SW 179, F29, 5'6"; CW 176.8 I've been working on eating between 1200 and 1500 calories a day for a month now. I exercise every day, and sometimes twice a day

I've lost 2 lbs.....

Thankfully I took measurements when I started in April, and pictures. I've lost an entire inch around my abdomen, an inch around my chest, an inch around my thighs! And I gained in my flat butt!

I feel sexy, I'm running longer and faster than I have before, and I'm able to increase my weight lift challenges.

I had the goal to get down into the 160's before my birthday in June. I realize now, that I need to ditch that goal, because my number on the scale is meaningless.

My new goal: exercise every day and stay under 1500 calories a day until my birthday, because that truly gives me results, even if the scale doesn't show it.

EDIT My journey doesn't stop at my birthday, it's just a manageable short term goal for now.
