Everyone knows that drinking our calories is at least 1/4 of the contributors to weight gain and high calorie consumption.
But we're not here to just lose weight, we want to know how to enjoy the foods we do enjoy but in a moderation that works for us. Solid foods is typically the focus and all we get for drinks is to either only drink water, drink low calorie drinks and drink anything else in moderation. But with solid foods we got tips and tricks, and cheats. I don't I feel like there could be more advice out there that's not talked about as much or at least focused and thus this post.
Here are some things I've discovered.
If you're thirsty and want to drink soda or something, drink some water first and then enjoy a serving of soda. Now you're not going back to drink multiple servings of soda.
If you pick a 20 oz cup to drink juice or soda and you end up filling up a second 20 oz cup, that's 40 oz you were better off getting the 32 oz. So go a head and the 32 oz if you think it will be enough to prevent you from getting them 8 oz on a refill.
Smoothies are a good substitute if you a craving for a shake, but those can be high in calories too. However smoothies are an excellent way to quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger, so you can drink a smoothie to save you calories for a high calorie cheat meal later on in the day without starving yourself.
Alcohol... let's face it if you're trying to turn up you're blowing you calorie limit. So take it as your cheat day. Maybe don't eat a lot for Breakfast and lunch, eat a lot for dinner to soak up the alcohol and enjoy yourself. Just don't do this every weekend, be the DD every other weekend if you have to. But today you getting turnt up and you gonna blow your calorie limit.
Shakes: Again that's cheat day food right hear. Even a small shake can be 500 calories. Add that with a 700 to 1000 calorie meal, you going over.
That's all I got for now, add more if you got something.
