I don't know if I'm just imagining things but I feel like some people at restaurants that you frequent either know you're trying to lose weight or just notice you getting smaller and intentionally over load you with food or add things you did ask for. I found some menu options at chik fil a that work within my deficit. Basic chicken sandwich with medium fries. That's around 700 calories for my lunch. Everything was cool until dude who is also big started putting extras in my bag. I'm like, "I just wanted 1 fry." He like "oh my bad, just throw it away." Then next time he slipped in chicken nuggets. "I didn't ask for nuggets." "My bad bro just throw it away." OK I ate the nuggets that time, I stopped going ever since. I don't like throwing away food and arguing with people.
Then today I had a bad day. I went over my calories. I went to Moe's, and the guy is also big, just started over loading my Quesadilla. He over loaded my shit before but at that time it was 2 people first person put in the right amount then passed it on to him and anything I asked for he put more than what I'm sure is the standard. But I'm a pacifist so I didn't engage. But this time it was just him he put way too much chicken and way too much bacon. But again I don't like conflict or throwing away food.
I don't know if these guys know I'm losing weight or think they doing me a solid but they're adding hurdles to a simple thing. I've allocated the amount of calories I'm eating and stuff like this makes my calorie allocations harder to stick to. Obviously I don't frequent these guys daily but often enough to where I feel the notice and it's been a month since I've been to Moe's. So am I crazy?
Anyone else have these problems?
