Very tired after eating 'whole carbs' like potatoes, WG bread, rice etc. but not from eating candy/chocolate
Post Body

Situation is, every time I eat a carb usually referred to as 'great for you' whether it's low GI or high, doesn't matter, I will every time feel like taking a nap... or take one! Either way it makes me very groggy, tired and cranky!

However, when I eat only the 'bad' carbs like chocolate bars, reese's peanut butter eggs, oreos, m&m's and that sort of thing -- I do not feel any negative effects at all. No fatigue, no sugar rush, carb crash afterward. Nothing.

Has anyone else experienced that sort of thing?

I eat a fairly carnivore-esque diet the rest of the time. Ribeyes, hamburger patties (73 lean), cheese and nuts.
