Losing weight is hard. Losing weight in the winter almost feels impossible. I live in a rural town with a tiny, awful (and I mean truly awful) gym. I don't even bother having a membership at this gym it is so bad. So my options are working out outside and in my house.
Anyone else get seasonal depression? I work 10 hour shifts. It is dark when I leave for work, and it is dark when I come home from work. I have ZERO motivation to throw on my DVD's and exercise, and there is a foot of snow outside . Ugh.
So I have come to terms over the last couple of years, that it is okay to just focus on my food intake during the winter. Once the sun starts setting later than 5 pm, I suddenly find myself motivated to get those workouts in. Just gotta make it through the darkness! We can do this!
