5 days a week I do 4 miles in 30 minutes on the elliptical and in 2 months I've lost 10lbs.
I play a game with myself.
First off, I listen to the album, "Power, Corruption & Lies" by New Order.
I like doing quick mathematics so I make sure to power through by getting to .5 miles at 3:45, 1 mile at 7:30, 1.5 miles at 11:15, 2 miles at 15:00, 2.5 miles at 18:45, 3 miles at 22:30, 3.5 miles at 26:15, and 4 miles at 30:00.
My mind is so caught up with the minor achievements that I don't think about the fatigue. It really works.
Also it's pretty cool that right around the 1 mile mark he sings about "3 miles to go-o."
Just thought I'd share this with all of you. I am so proud of this community. You give so much strength to a weakling like me.
