About two and a half years ago now I began losing weight at 300 lbs. I had moments of going strong and moments of weakness as I'm sure most people can empathize with. Eventually after a year and a half though I reached 190 lbs and while not technically being my final goal I was satisfied. Over the last year though not only have I not been able to get rid of that last bit of weight, I've put on 40 lbs again. There were small bits of time here and there where I could lose 5ish lbs again, but I've never been able to continuously stick to my diet the way I once did. It just always feels discouraging having to lose weight I feel like I already lost before. I know that's a terrible mindset to have and isn't true at all, but I can't shake it.
So my question is the title. How have some of you who have fallen off the wagon been able to get back on and stay on? What kind of mindset do you have?
