I still use some cream and sugar in my coffee every morning- light coffee cream 1 teaspoon of sugar=45 calories and I find helps me keep my fast with much less hardship than when I drink it black or with milk and artificial sweetener.
I drink water for most of the rest of the day, sometimes with enhancers. However, come dinner time, I REALLY like having some juice or flavored drink like Hawaiian punch to go with it. After pushing through with just water for some time, I've recently been having that calorie-reduced juice with it. With some experimentation, I find it honestly helps me go without a 'real' dessert like cookies most of the time. Same with having half a can of Coke (my s/o drinks the stuff constantly) or a small glass of chocolate milk.
So, DAE find that drinking some of their calories provides a benefit?
