Feeling so stuck and ready to give up (aka plateaus stuck)
Post Body

Hi all, I'm hoping for some kind/helpful words from people that can think clearer than I can since I'm getting so down.

I'm 5'1 (more stats below) and started CICO in May of last year. It was tough but between May and December I lost 35 pounds on CICO only and was really happy at my progress. I was feeling, looking good and felt like I was loosing in a really healthy/sustainable way.

Since December, although I've been sticking to my CICO, I have lost no weight.

My stats are as follows: 5'1, female, 28, average of 8k steps per day and tracking using Lose It. According to Lose It, the math (plus 100 calories manually added) puts me at a budget of 1,299/per day. I haven't changed anything since loosing the initial 35lbs and don't know what I would change.

I'm getting so frustrated and to be honest, really sad. I was doing so well and now I've just, stopped. I set a 50 pound goal by June 2018 which would be a little less than 1 pound per week. I was pumped! I could do this! I was making it happen, living my life, looking and feeling good. And now... I just want to cry and give it all up.

Of course, I won't give it all up. I'm still 35 pounds down. I'm still at a size 10/8 dress and jeans from a size 16. I have collar bones! I have face gains! But, as irrational as it sounds, lately I have been feeling like 'well, maybe this is as low as I go'.

I know I'm not the only person who has been through this but I'm just kinda at a loss of where to go from here. I can't cut more calories and I can't stop being down on myself. Any advice? Did I do my calculations wrong? What would you suggest changing up?

Thanks for any advice!
